Account Manager - Weaver
ECBM is looking for an Account Manager to join our growing team! The Account Manager is responsible for the retention of existing accounts and assists in the production of new business, primarily on Personal Lines, Farm Owners and Small Business accounts. This role provides in-house customer service to clients as assigned, assists in daily operation of department, and provides support to the Producers/Manager. The Account Manager works to provide insurance solutions that will enhance our client’s insurance program. This role is at our Weaver office, located in Quarryville, PA.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the retention of existing accounts and assistance in the sale of new business.
- Assist in marketing of accounts/risks, review of quotes for accuracy, and prepare proposals.
- Bind coverage on new and/or remarketed business; send applications and forms to clients, and follow up for signed applications.
- Check new and renewal policies for accuracy and forward policies to client.
- Prepare quotes and rewrite applications for book roll at least 45 days prior to renewal. Secure and submit required renewal underwriting information.
- Receive phone calls from clients, carriers and other sources pertaining to a client’s file
- Complete client Insurance Summaries when requested
- Discuss policy changes and additions with clients.
- Process the policy change through the carrier website or via email communication
- Maintain agency management system for our clients.
- Follow up on all late pay premium notices with the client.
- Provide assistance with claim and in their resolution, as is necessary.
- Process daily download.
- Process renewals, binders, ID cards, invoicing and other documentation.
- Actively solicit account rounding – new lines and new coverage and coverage increase.
- Actively seek referrals from current client base to solicit for new business prospects.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- College degree preferred, but high school diploma or equivalency required.
- Valid property and casualty insurance license is required.
- Knowledge or experience with PL/Farmowner/Business products and markets.
- Excellent organizational and prioritizing abilities.
- Knowledge of AMS, Applied or other agency management systems.
- Experience with Personal Lines rating.
- Pleasant and professional phone manner and face-to-face presence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
