About the Role

ECBM is looking for an Human Resources Associate to join our growing team! This role will contribute to the profits and efficiency of ECBM by providing direct support to our HR Director. Our ideal candidate will have experience in recruiting and hiring new team members, as this is a major aspect of the role.

Responsibilities

  1.  Recruiting
    •    Job posting, interview process, and testing
  2.  Assisting with hiring process 
    •    Coordinating offer letter and package
    •    Checking references, ordering background checks, and authorizing drug screenings
    •    Setting up employees in our HRIS system, as well as setting up Personnel files
    •    Updating Turnover Report 
    •    Setting up Benefit Administration and updating Medical Cost for Employees spreadsheets with counts
  3.  Assisting with termination process
    •    Reporting payroll to Accounting
    •    Benefit Administration of termination
    •    Following up on COBRA – if elected, informing benefit carriers
    •    Updating Medical Cost for Employees spreadsheets with counts
  4.  HRIS Administration
    •    Payroll Back Up
    •    401(k) information and upload
    •    Onboarding and Attendance tracking
    •    Dependents, Benefits, Contacts
    •    EEO1 information
  5.  Setting up benefits invoices
  6.  Assisting with issues and projects with the 401(k) Plan
    •    Keeping track of eligibility enrollment dates
    •    Assisting with Annual Notice Mailings to former employees still in the plan and updating spreadsheet with Annual Notice mailings
    •    Scheduling individual 401(k) meetings with representative
  7.  Coordinating repairs with outside contractors
  8.  Coordinating and organizing meetings as required
  9.  Pursuing personal development program
  10.  Maintaining effective working relationships with employees and vendors 
  11.  Miscellaneous administrative support
  12.  Handling other projects and requirements as assigned by Management
